On May 27–29, 2026, the XV International Scientific and Technical Conference “Information Technology Security” (ITSEC-2026) was held at Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University — a prestigious forum for exchanging scientific findings and practical experience in the field of information security.
The conference has traditionally served as a platform for sharing research results, practical experience, and innovative ideas among representatives of the academic community, the public sector, and the IT industry. It brought together scientists, lecturers, practitioners, and students to discuss contemporary challenges in information security, network protection, cryptography, critical infrastructure security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, the digital transformation of society, and other promising areas of information technology development.
The conference was attended by representatives of more than 40 higher education institutions, research organizations, government bodies, and specialized organizations. International participants included representatives from the United Kingdom, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan. The Ukrainian scientific community was represented by researchers and specialists from the cities of Kyiv, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Drohobych, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Chernihiv, Rivne, Uzhhorod, Khmelnytskyi, and Zaporizhzhia.
